History of EIGRP...

During the first week of July, three studges - Marvin dela Cruz, Ralph Castillo and John Mc Gregory Roque established an organization called Elite Ilk or Group of Robust Programmers in AMA College Fairview. Their vision: to recruit and train programmers to use their knowledge for the good of mankind and provide new ethics and techniques in the essence of programming. Through these visions, EIGRP was born.

By the end of July, current staffs announced their warm welcome for students eager to join the organization. Examinees are to be asked for their expertise and trials are to be conducted. EIGRP has set 3 divisions - Multimedia Team, Junior Programmers Team and Senior Programmers Team in order for the organization to work perfectly like a clock which defines teamwork. In the first set of examinees, more than 7 were recruited and trials are still going on...

In the month of August, Linggo ng Wika is to be celebrated on the campus itself. Some of the events that EIGRP handled are PSP Tekken 5 Tournament and DoTA Competitions. Through these events, EIGRP paved a way for other people to have their own time on someplace else aside from watching programs, eating in the food fare and going in other booths. EIGRP contributed 6 PC sets for the DoTA Competition and more than 2 PSP's for the Tekken Tournament...

By the time that semestral break came, the organization never had time for meetings and proper exercises which led an issue to the group's downfall due to the fact that almost all members are spending their semestral break on provinces. Since no activities were being held, President John Mc Gregory Roque requested the Multimedia Team's assistance in constructing the organization's very first website. The system undergone many Beta tests and finally the sites were successfully completed.

With the help of handheld phones, proper communications were restored and meetings are currently being planned because of schedule conflicts. No meeting in the month of September were conducted but will surely have in the month of October. Today, EIGRP firmly stands and ready to be recognized as one of the organization that will mark the beginning of a new era...
